SPIN-OUT · TSX.V: CMCG

Chilean Metals: the spin-out
now trading on its own.

In February 2025, Power Metallic spun out its Golden Ivan property and Chilean exploration assets into Chilean Metals Inc. — half retained by Power Metallic, half distributed directly to shareholders. On February 19, 2026 it began trading on the TSX Venture Exchange.

WHY IT EXISTS

Good ground, wrong shadow.

These assets predate the NISK discovery — Power Metallic was called Chilean Metals before it ever drilled in Quebec. Once Lion made NISK a 99%-of-the-story project, exploration ground two continents away deserved its own vehicle rather than a footnote.

01 · FOCUS
Power Metallic stays a NISK company

Every dollar and every rig-hour stays on the district in Quebec. Nothing competes for capital or attention.

02 · VALUE
Idle assets get their own engine

A separate listing gives the portfolio its own access to capital, its own news flow, and a valuation that isn't rounded to zero inside a bigger story.

03 · ALIGNMENT
Shareholders got it for free

The spin-out was a plan of arrangement, not a sale: holders of record on January 31, 2025 received Chilean Metals shares directly.

Held PNPN in January 2025?
Then you already own this.

The spin-out means Power Metallic investors carry two positions: the NISK district story, and a second exploration company that arrived without costing a dollar.

1
Shares went to holders of record
Power Metallic shareholders of record on January 31, 2025 received Chilean Metals shares through the plan of arrangement completed February 3, 2025.

Chilean Metals is the bonus. The reason to watch Power Metallic is drilling in Quebec right now.
